This is Study #3 in a six image study of "The Motion of Dance", which was published in "Seeing in Sixes 2018" by Lenswork. I was one of fifty, out of around 1200 photographers world wide that was selected to be published.

Dance a form of poetry in itself. To be able to slow down the gracefulness of dance and show the softness of the motion, I found to be very artful. To look in each image and see the emotion in their faces and be swept up in what they are performing, enhanced by their every move. A quote by Mata Hari, "The dance is a poem of which each movement is a word." I believe this can be seen in the study of the six images in The Motion Of Dance!
